Kitty & Alan's Wedding

KITTY & ALAN | WEDDING | THE FAIRMONT HOTEL & THE LAKESIDE | SEATTLE, WA

I first met Kitty and Alan when they came into my portrait studio, Creativity Loves Company, to shoot an image for their New York Times wedding announcement. One week later I was photographing their big day. They are such relaxed, welcoming and fun individuals that I was sure I would have a blast shooting their wedding, and I did. Kitty started the morning getting ready at The Fairmont Olympic Hotel. After a couple of glasses of champagne we were off to The Lakeside for the ceremony. It was a gorgeous Buddhist-inspired event officiated by one of their close friends. Afterward, the reception was kicked off with a number of touching toasts. Their slideshow and a few select frames are below.

Erin & Caleb's Wedding

ERIN & CALEB | WEDDING | WEST VALLEY CHURCH | YAKIMA, WA

I love traveling for weddings, whether it's a two hour drive or a plane ride away. It always offers me a fresh perspective and fresh inspiration. Erin and Caleb were married in a beautiful ceremony in Yakima, Washington. I first met Erin in 2008 when I photographed her friend Holly's wedding. I was super excited when she chose me to capture her big day as well. The morning started with the ladies getting ready at Erin's home while the guys prepared at Rosedell Bed and Breakfast. Once Erin was ready she headed over to meet Caleb at Rosedell, a recently restored mansion originally built in 1811. After shooting some really fun images we were off to the ceremony and reception at West Valley Church. A few favorites and their slideshow are below. Congratulations Erin and Caleb!
